Fit a photo into an upload limit
Prepare a JPEG for a form that accepts only a limited file size.
Choose Pro for a target size
Open the photo in JPEG Jackal Pro and set Target file size to the upload limit, for example 500 KB. The app picks the highest quality that fits. This feature is also available with the Pro upgrade inside Lite.
Keep your original
On Mac, choose an output folder in Standard or Pro to save copies. Mac Lite replaces originals, so make a backup first. On iPhone and iPad, the app creates compressed copies; save to Files for uploading.
Check the exported file
Check the saved file size and the visual detail before submitting it. If a form rejects the file, check its accepted format and pixel dimensions as well. HEIC and WebP conversion is in Pro on Mac and in Lite on iPhone and iPad.
