Privacy Policy
This policy applies to Nomen by Astrum Vitriolum.
Data we collect
Nomen doesn't collect any data. Its App Store privacy label is “Data Not Collected”.
Your files
The files and photos you open in Nomen are processed on your device. They are not sent to Astrum Vitriolum.
Nomen renames only the files and folders you add to it, and never overwrites or deletes them. File names and contents never leave your Mac.
The Journal (old and new names and their folders) and your presets are stored on your Mac, so that renames can be undone.
Only when a rule uses the city or country token, Nomen sends the GPS coordinates of your photos, rounded to about 1 km, to Apple's place-name service. We receive nothing. Without these tokens Nomen makes no network requests apart from the App Store.
Nomen Pro is bought through Apple. We don't learn who bought it.
Crash reports
If you have agreed to share analytics with app developers in your device settings, Apple may pass us anonymous crash reports. We use them only to fix problems.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page.
