Drop photos or screenshots onto Hider and it finds the faces and text in them, down to emails, phone numbers and card numbers, and covers them in the style you pick. Check the result, click a box to keep something visible, and export. Everything happens on your Mac.

What it does

Personal data only

Hide just the emails, phone numbers, links, addresses, card numbers and IBANs, and leave the rest of the text readable.

Hider: Personal data only

Keep what should stay visible

Click a box to turn it off, drag to add your own, rectangle or oval. Every change can be undone.

Hider: Keep what should stay visible

No location, no camera info

Exported photos lose their GPS position and camera details by default. The format and colour profile stay, and the originals are never overwritten.

What's the difference between Lite, Hider and PRO?

All three find and hide faces and text, with Personal data only, manual regions, Compare and metadata removal. Lite is free with Pixelate, Gaussian Blur and Solid. Hider and PRO are one-time purchases: Hider has seven styles and Export All, PRO all nine. Hider Lite Full, bought inside Lite, unlocks everything in PRO.

Can I fix areas the app missed?

Yes. Drag on the photo to add a region, rectangle or oval, or click a box to turn it off. Backspace deletes a region and ⌘Z undoes.

Are my photos uploaded anywhere?

No. Detection and the styles run on your Mac, and the app works without internet.

Which files does it open?

JPEG, PNG and HEIC, one by one or a whole folder. Results are saved in the original format, or as JPEG or PNG.
